Darrell Kindley, Chief Executive Officer

Darrell Kindley has had a lifetime passion for the aviation industry.  Darrell has spent 32 years in various engineering and executive leadership positions at Lockheed Martin, Bell Helicopter and FLIR systems.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, an MBA in Engineering Management, and has attended executive education at Wharton School of Business.

 Darrell currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Ace Aeronautics, LLC d/b/a Global Aviation Solutions (GAS) that is headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama.  In addition, he serves as the President of one of the GAS wholly owned subsidiary companies named Apache Enterprises, LLC, a Dallas-based company specializing in the design and manufacture of aircraft structures and lighting solutions for military and commercial aircraft.

 Outside of his career, Darrell was an active drag boat racer from 2006 until 2011 piloting his Pro Modified hydroplane drag boat at speeds up to 180mph.  Additionally, he loves to golf, and is an avid fisherman.  Darrell enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife and two talented children. 

Frank Wallace, Executive Vice President

Frank Wallace was the co-founder of Global Aviation Solutions. Prior to current position at Global Aviation Solutions Frank had 30-year career in the defense and aerospace sector which include government service, a stint at Bell Helicopter and 5 years as a consultant. Frank has also founded and successfully operated several companies in a variety of different fields to include construction/development, engineering and Aviation. He is an accomplished pilot with over 4500 hours logged in more than dozen different Aircraft types and categories. Frank makes his home in Huntsville Alabama where he spends his spare time when he is not working or flying at his family farm enjoying life along with his wife Katinka, their 6 children and 6 grandchildren.

Michael Stout, Chief Financial Officer

Michael jumped at the chance to move to Huntsville as it reminds him of his native Austin, TX. He brings a depth of business experience serving in defense, construction, accounting, manufacturing, catering, real estate and marketing professions. He has served as CEO for Capital Accounting Services, LLC, Marchpoint, Inc., and Performance Exhaust Warehouse, LLC. Michael enjoys and specializes in growing businesses, and he includes Industrial Asphalt, Novatech Manufacturing, and Hisaw Construction as companies that saw large net worth increases through revenue growth, capital investment and cost management.

He will miss announcing horse shows and auto-cross racing in Texas, but he will continue cooking, fishing, hiking and playing golf here in Huntsville. He is joined in Huntsville with his wife Sharon who does PRN work in the hospital district. Michael has a BS in Finance, a real estate license, and member of the Institute of Management Accountants and CMA certified.

Michael is a degreed financial accountant and CMA certified.

Kerry Brunson, Vice President–Operations

Kerry Brunson is the Vice President of Operations for Global Aviation Solutions.  Kerry was previously the Vice President of Logistics Support Facility (LSF) Programs and General Manager of the LSF for Science and Engineering Services.  In this capacity, Kerry spent 6 years managing a portfolio in support of the US Army Program Executive Office - Aviation where he was responsible for cost, schedule and performance of over 70 programs on a contract valued at $1.5B.    

Kerry retired from the US Army in 2009.  During his Army career, Kerry served in numerous Aviation assignments including over five years as an Experimental Test Pilot where he specialized in the testing of software-intensive avionics, communications and electronics systems.  Kerry culminated his Army career as a Department of Army board-select Product Manager for Apache Modernization and Recapitalization - responsible for all post production modifications to the Army AH-64D fleet and managed the cost, schedule, and the performance for over 15 products and modifications to the AH-64D helicopter. 

Kerry has a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Military Academy, an MS in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and is a graduate of the US Naval Experimental Test Pilot School.  Kerry is a Master Army Aviator and is qualified in numerous rotary and fixed wing platforms. 

Randy Nolin, Chief Engineer

Randy Nolin was born and raised in Enterprise, Alabama. After high school, he entered service in the Alabama Army National Guard and, over the next 31 years, served in multiple command and staff positions at various levels in the Guard, Reserves, and on Active Duty. Randy currently serves in the U.S. Army Reserves as the 110th Aviation Brigade (Augmentation) Commander located at Ft. Rucker, Alabama. He is a Master Army Aviator and a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Randy is graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and also a graduate of the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School, Class 116. He is a former FAA employee and also has over 21 years of service with the U.S. Army Redstone Test Center (formerly the U.S. Army Aviation Technical Test Center), where his positions included Flight Test Engineer, Assistant Division Chief, Division Chief, and Chief Engineer.
